The four inspired Gospels tell the Savior's Story
- They speak of His fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies which described the future Savior and
- They share how He carried our transgressions to the cross and died the death we deserved.
- Most importantly, they proclaim how He defeated death and grave for us by His glorious resurrection.
But there's more. The Savior's Story is

Hello, my name is Pastor Ken Klaus.
For 28 years I was blessed to have served congregations in South Dakota, Illinois, Minnesota and Texas. Some of you may know me from my writings, prayer books, Bible studies and pamphlets. Many more recognize my voice from the Lutheran Hour or my Daily Devotions.
My duties and love of travel have taken me all over the world in the proclamation of the Gospel message. I have been blessed to have received an Honorary Doctorate from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin... as well as an Indian Name from the granddaughter of the great Lakota chief, Red Cloud. (That name translates, "The Man Who Walks With God.)
Now it is my privilege to be host of this site, "The Savior's Story."

For many years I had the opportunity to write Devotions for many organizations such as Portals of Prayer, LHM, and LAMP. A desire to produce Daily Devotions was the beginning, but not the ending of these pages. Soon I had a smorgasboard of material designed to answer your questions... to make you laugh and cry... to offer you a challenge. Oh, I almost forgot, there are also opportunities here for you to share. You can add to some of our pages and tell of special saints who have touched you (The Savor In His Saints). You can take advantages of a unique opportunity to travel to the once-in-a-decade Passion Play put on by the folks of Oberammergau, Germany and some of you church workers may wish to take advantage of accompanying me on what could easily be a free trip to Israel (Israel Made Easy).
